This was pretty fantastic but I docked you half a star for not reading it in your best Sylvester Stallone impression (Shits coming with you to your grave)

you maniac

To the Guy Below Me First

I HATE YOU PEOPLE THAT CALL THE SONG NUMA NUMA. ITS DRAGOSTEA DIN TEI.

Gawd :V This also sounds nothing like it, honestly >.>

Anyway, this song is quite nice. The build up is very fluent and after that it just does it's thing.

Once again, keep up the good work :)

DJ-VIZ responds:

haha I didn't think it sounds numa numa ish. thanks

Nice Song

Now to set all the misinformed dummies straight.

To Proview
DotA is a custom MAP (Not a mod) for Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. The game (Warcraft 3) comes with a very versatile map editor and DotA is just a very popular map that was made on Warcraft 3.

To Adversity
Basshunter has made a song that sings about DotA. Which is what the other guy was referring to.

I hate when people act smart and they aren't.

NOW TO REVIEW

While you're remixing Basshunter songs, you should do "I Can Walk On Water, I Can Fly" and keep the lyrics in :3

I liked the melody in this track.

Overall nice song, keep up the good work

P.S DotA stands for "Defense of the Ancients"

ganon95 responds:

i don't know how to get lyrics

Woah

This turned on when I went to the Audio Portal and I thought it was a video game, I had to reassure myself I hadn't clicked any games open

I guess I'm saying NICE WORK

NemesisTheory responds:

That's awesome!! XD
Thank you :D

Nice Start

That explosion is definitely nice, shame it declined a little bit right after that though

I'm loving the bass in this along with the synths. Very nice song

Keep it up

Karco responds:

Thanks a lot for reviewing, glad you liked it. :)

Nice Song

Whats with all the people with Warcraft icons?! OH GOD?!

Anyway, this song is really nice, I was in the Tut Collab 08 and when I came to your music, I noticed you also did the song for the B&W anniversary :O

Definitely adding you to favorites, keep up the awesome work. What do you use for your music?

ShirkDeio responds:

FL Studio 7 Producer Edition (actually FL8 now...I downloaded it a couple days ago =p).

Glad you like my music. I'm excited that it's getting used in some good submissions (two daily first submissions with my songs in it!). Though I was a part of both of those submissions, it's still exciting =p

Thanks for the review!

Epic

Wow, man, very nice =D

Weapongod30 responds:

Epic lulz. Thanks for the review!

Third and Final

Good piece, not too fast, not too slow. The flute gives it an ambient feel while the drums maintain a firm sense of intensity. A sense of good and evil almost.

The flute was very fitting and very well done. It really gave this song it's strength in a way. Despite the flute not being something as epic sounding as the drums, it still manages to achieve the effect.

Keep up the good work, hope you do well in the contest =D

MaestroRage responds:

hello Warchamp7!

It is a strange that you would bring up the flute as giving it the pieces strength. The original file did not intend to have a flute, in fact, it didn't have any kind of melodic layering. What you hear the first 22 or so seconds was pretty much it, with percussion and chord differences along the way.

Thankfully I decided last minute it needed something more, and put on the flute. I am glad I made the right choice, thanks to the opinion of a few friends.

Thank you for the review, I am glad you liked it, thanks again for the luck!

Second One ^^

It's almost fun >.>

Great work with this peace. It had a calm feel to it while still maintaining a dominant sense of intensity. The vocals definately gave it a darkish feel.

Despite the repeating of the backgrounds drums, they still don't get too repetitive. The side melody sounded really good and blended well with the rest of the song. The Main melody definately helped with the intense, epic feel.

Great work with this piece, looks very nicely. Keep up the awesome work

MaestroRage responds:

hello again Warchamp7!

I am glad you felt there was an intensity to this piece, for that is what I was going for. The song was inspired by the famous poem written by Dylan Thomas, titled "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night". A brilliant read, I would highly recommend you do, please visit

and read for yourself. You will see how my song and this poem intertwine :D. Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Since You Aren't Reviewing Your Own..

I will XD

It turned out really good. I like the drums (Or is it a synth) that comes in every once in a while. It gave it sort of an abstract effect to it. Very well organized. I liked the percussion sections a lot, they had a very nice vibe to them.

The main melody was very nice sounding, the violin had a mix of epic yet calm feel to it.

The entire piece sounds really good, it also loops wonderfully. Keep up the good work and good luck in the competition :)

MaestroRage responds:

Thanks again Warchamp7 for your reviews!

The drums in this piece are currently my biggest achievement. They are my most diverse and punishing percussion to date, and I hope to be able to learn how to make it even more demanding, even MORE severe >:D!!!

One day...

To be honest, I don't quite like how the loop ends, I was debating on changing it for the longest time, but somehow decided to keep it. I kinda regret that choice, but the song still works as is, so I will have to keep it like this.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it ^^.
