Taking place January 5-8, 2012, MAGFest X is set to be the biggest and best one yet. After reaching capacity last year on prepurchases alone, MAGFest has moved to a bigger and better venue and promises to be the greatest video game convention you will ever go to.

No corporate sponsoring or products being rammed down your throats, MAGFest is run by gamers, for gamers.

Why should you care? In past years, the one and only Kirbopher has attended and had panels, it's not known whether he will attend again this year though. What is known though is that the infamous Egoraptor WILL be in attendance as a guest, doing panels and mingling with the crowd.

Get set for MAGFest X folks, if you're a gamer, you're a fool not to attend.

MAGFest 9 is coming up soon in January from the 13th to the 16th.

If you like video games and are within reasonable distance of Alexandria, Virginia, you owe it to yourself to be there.

Last year I got to meet Kirbopher there and I'm hoping he'll be there again this year, we'll see I guess.

FUCK YEAH MAGFEST!

Crazy fucking party in Alexandria, Virginia. I got to meet LittleKuriboh of YuGiOh Abridged, MasakoX from Dragonball Z Abridged and even Kirbopher himself!

Kirbopher was a totally cool guy and it was awesome to meet him.

Also got to meet Jon St. John, the voice of DUKE NUKEM. I WAS ON THE SAME FLOOR AS HIM. His room was two doors down from mine. AWESOME SHIT.

The writer, director and two actors from There Will Be Brawl were also there. Four of the coolest people I've ever met and I had a great time hanging out with them.

As for the musical portions, Virt had an awesome set on New Year's Eve as well as Renard (Who I travelled with) who absolutely rocked the place.

Anyway, this was my second MAGFest and it was even better than the last. I can't wait to go again next year.

It's a Video Game and Music party for four days straight.

It's in a hotel and the game areas run for all 24 hours of each day. So go to a concert, pass out in your room, wake up at 2 AM, go downstairs, play some Street Fighter or Galaga or something and then go back up to your room and pass out again.

It's fucking amazing so be there.
